19/12/2022: Charging for Passport Replacements

From the 1 January 2023, ScotEID will be reintroducing a replacement passport fee for all lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged passports in Scotland. Replacement passport charges are continued to be applied GB wide.

To date, passports replacements have been provided free of charge, to encourage cattle keepers to correct outstanding errors and to allow ScotEID time to refine the complex process of passport production, following the successful transfer of services from CTS last year. The cost of a replacement will be in line with that charged by other parts of GB of £20 per passport. There will be no fee for corrections (wrong sex or birth date), or for passports that do not turn up in the post, providing you let us know that you did not receive them within six weeks of issue. There will also be no charge for passports where the movement boxes on the reverse page are full; a replacement passport will be provided free of charge.

Payment can be made directly to ScotEID.com Limited by bank transfer (Sort Code 40-51-62 account number 68144298) or via a cheque to ScotEID.com Limited. Links to the replacement passport form and notes are below.
